We are excited to share some photos of the “BIG PICK 2″ that took place on Sunday 6/28/09 at CSUN’s Historic Orange Grove! In just six hours, 100+ volunteers harvested nearly 8000 lbs of oranges – fresh free fruit which began being distributed yesterday. This nearly DOUBLES the first Big Pick record of 4,800 lbs from back in March. Many photos courtesy of Bernard Falkin – A very special thanks to Bernard for his time and talents!
We would love to hear from everyone who participated on Sunday and hope that you will share your stories, comments and photos with us! We could not have done this without you and look forward to seeing you all on another pick soon…
